It doesn’t matter if you haven’t exercised in a long time or ever – that’s what we’re here for. We’ll guide you through the basics of Reformer Pilates over the 6 weeks where you’ll become confident and feel the difference in your posture and strength.

The program is designed to help you build strong foundations so you can move better, feel steadier and continue progressing with confidence. This is not a fast paced gym workout. It’s a calm, supportive and beginner friendly Pilates program designed to help you build strength safely, move with more confidence and feel good in your body again.

What to expect in class

Each class is gentle, structured and supportive.

You’ll learn how to use the Reformer safely, build confidence with the equipment and move through exercises designed to improve strength, balance and mobility.

Every class is guided by an instructor who will support your level, offer modifications and help you feel comfortable from the moment you arrive.

No experience required. No pressure to keep up. Just steady progress, expert support and a welcoming community.

Do I need Pilates experience?

No. This program is beginner friendly and designed for women who may be completely new to Pilates.

What if I feel nervous?

That’s completely normal. Our classes are small, supportive and welcoming. You’ll be guided every step of the way.

Is this suitable if I haven’t exercised in a while?

Yes. The program is designed to help you start safely and build gradually.

How many women are in each group?

There are a maximum of 8 women per group so you receive proper support and guidance.

Where is the studio?

BASE Pilates Collective is located in Jolimont, Perth.

What should I wear?

Comfortable activewear and Pilates grip socks. If you don’t have socks, we can help you with these at the studio.
