Welcome to Base Pilates Collective. If you’re new or considering starting, these are the most common questions we get from our clients.

No! You don’t need to be fit to start.

Our classes are designed for all levels, including complete beginners. We guide you through every movement and offer modifications to suit your body.  Most of our clients start with little to no experience.

Yes, we offer a simple, beginner friendly way to get started:

We have our 14 days for $49 Intro Pass (Unlimited Access)

This allows you to:
✔ try different classes
✔ build confidence
✔ find your routine

It’s the best way to experience the studio before committing to a membership.

Yes we do have a dedicated beginners course we run a few times throughout the year, however, you don’t need to complete the course to begin.

All of our classes are designed to be beginner friendly, with:

✔ small class sizes (max 8)
✔ personalised guidance
✔ clear instruction

We specialise in helping people feel comfortable from their very first class.

Yes. We run dedicated Postnatal Mums and Bubs classes:

🗓 Tuesdays & Thursdays
10:15am

These classes are:

✔ safe and supportive for postnatal recovery
✔ designed to rebuild core and pelvic floor strength
✔ completely baby-friendly

You’re welcome to bring your baby along — no childcare needed.

Yes! We offer dedicated classes for older adults through our Ageless Strength program.

These classes are designed for those 65+ (or anyone wanting a gentler, supportive approach) and focus on:

✔ building strength safely
✔ improving balance and stability
✔ supporting mobility and joint health
✔ helping you stay independent and confident in everyday movement

Classes are:

✔ low impact
✔ small and supportive
✔ guided step-by-step

No experience is needed, we meet you where you’re at.

Parking is easy and convenient.

There is street parking available outside Tribe Wellness Co gym (we are located inside the gym) as well as free street parking.

Most clients have no issues finding a spot.

We recommend arriving 5–10 minutes early to allow time to park and settle in before class.

Wear comfortable activewear that allows you to move freely.

✔ leggings or shorts
✔ a fitted top, tank or t-shirt
✔ grip socks (socks are a must for safety and hygiene)

If you don’t have grip socks, we have them available in the studio.

Let us know before your class.

Our instructors will:

✔ guide you safely
✔ modify exercises as needed
✔ help you build strength without aggravating injuries

Many of our clients start Pilates to move better and reduce pain.
