Meet Bec – Base Pilates Collective Studio Owner
My movement journey began at Tribe Wellness Co (back when it was still the original Body Consultants), where I fell in love with strength training. But as much as I loved lifting, I was also battling a persistent disc injury that eventually forced me to slow down and reassess how I moved.
That’s when I discovered Reformer Pilates – not just as a form of exercise, but as a way to relieve pain, support my mental health and reconnect with my body.
After undergoing surgery to correct the injury, my rehabilitation combined both Pilates and strength training. This powerful combination helped me rebuild not only my physical strength, but also my confidence in movement.
My passion for both Mat Pilates and Reformer Pilates only deepened as I experienced first hand how strong it made me feel as well as how it complements strength training and enhances overall wellbeing.
Today, I’m a dedicated studio owner and Instructor with a simple mission: to help others move better, feel stronger, and live pain-free. My love for both forms of movement – weight training and Pilates led me to create Base Pilates Collective.

Nestled inside Tribe Wellness Co was the perfect fit for Base Pilates Collective – Reformer, Mat Pilates and Yoga, combined with access to Strength Training in the Gym- what more could we ask for! Mindful movement in a beautiful space 🫶
